What TechSessions.live is

TechSessions.live is an open platform for live tech sessions on any technology. Subject matter experts host, and the people who join work through the problem with them rather than watching a talk. Sessions run online and in person, most are free, and we record what we can. Edler Hub runs the platform.

What a working session is

A working session is a live technology session where someone who does the work walks you through the real thing: a system they run, a decision they made, a trade-off they got wrong the first time round. Then they take questions from the people watching.

There is no product demo at the end, no qualification call, no gated download. Sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes, and every one leaves time for questions.

Who speaks

We look for people who work in the field rather than professional speakers. Software architects, platform and infrastructure engineers, data and AI specialists, designers, product leads, founders. The one thing we ask is that they have done the thing they are talking about.

Every session page names the speaker and their role before you register, along with the agenda, the format, and the start time in a stated timezone.

If you would like to lead a session, email techsessions@edlerhub.world with the topic and a line or two about the work behind it. If it is your first time, we will help you shape it. You do not need a polished talk ready.

Online, in person, and webinars

Sessions run in all three formats, and each listing says which. Online sessions and webinars email you a joining link on the day. In-person ones list the city and venue up front. Our audience is spread across a lot of timezones, so every listing shows the start time in the session timezone. Do check it against your own.

What it costs

Most sessions are free. If one does carry a fee, the price is on the session page before you register, never at the end. Signing up asks for your name and email, takes about a minute, and does not create an account.

Recordings and replays

When we record a session, registered attendees get the replay and the speaker’s notes about a day later. Past recordings live on the home page under Past sessions. Some play straight away; for others you register first, which is free and takes about a minute. A few are withdrawn at the host’s request and are not published at all.

Who runs it

TechSessions.live is run by Edler Hub (Edler Hub Private Limited), a technology company based in India that works with people all over the world. Edler Hub also runs HackHub, a hackathon platform. TechSessions is where the people building that kind of software talk about how they actually do it.

Questions, session proposals and partnership enquiries all go to techsessions@edlerhub.world. A person reads them.
