The fine print, in plain English

TechSessions.live is run by Edler Hub. By registering for a session you agree to receive the session details by email — that's the deal.

What we host

Working sessions of various shapes — online live streams, in-person workshops, panel discussions, meet-ups. Each event's page tells you the format, the duration, where it'll happen, and whether it costs anything.

Pricing

Most sessions are free. Some may carry a fee — clearly marked on the event page before you register. Paid sessions are processed via our payment provider; refund policies are listed per event.

Your registration

One email per event per person. We email you the calendar invite immediately, plus a unique access link that opens a page with the join URL (online events) or venue details (in-person events). Share the link, and your spot doesn't follow — only the email it was sent to gets in.

Recordings

Where we record (typically online sessions), the recording is posted publicly afterwards. If you speak or appear on camera during a recorded session, you're consenting to be in that recording. In-person events may or may not be recorded — the event page tells you.

Code of conduct

Be decent. We have zero tolerance for harassment, bigotry, doxxing, off-topic spam, or any abuse of speakers or other attendees — whether in chat, in the venue, or in any related space. Hosts can remove participants without warning. Repeat offences mean your email goes on our permanent blocklist.

Changes & cancellations

If we have to move or cancel a session, you'll hear from us via the email you registered with. For paid sessions, cancellations from our side are fully refunded.

Your content

Anything you say in a live chat or as a question during a session may be paraphrased or quoted in the recording, social posts, or follow-up notes. Tell us at the time if you'd prefer to stay anonymous and we'll honour that.

Liability

TechSessions.live is provided "as is". We try hard to make it work but stuff happens — speakers cancel, streams glitch, venues lose power. For free sessions we owe you nothing beyond our best effort. For paid sessions we owe you a refund if we don't deliver.
